Remember tho kantastic water wetter is not designed for watercooling pc's it's for cars. Fourstaff Moderator Staff member. Joined Nov 29, Messages 9, 2. Why not add red wine instead?

Same question on another forum, maybe same OP???
Just not as trusted as Petras. Maybe a patent ran out dunno. I say it's okay, wondering if it's as clean and as perfect as the perfect Petra. I KNOW his product is good. Like to hear Petra chime in.
All stock for now, no need for more, but it's gonna be soon methinks. Pa Swiftech 35x pump with V2 restop. GT AP15 fans. The kill coil is a good measure against some Bio build up and only a few quid, just pop it in the loop somewhere out of sight. I have a kill coil bit not used it in years. I've since read silver and nickel can be problematic.
Also no fluid can truly inhibit galvanic corrosion, it's just going to happen regardless. So I think in a typical loop I will be grey and older by the time corrosion is a problem. I've added four drops of PHN Nuke to the loop now I like the idea of bang for the buck and simplicity of Distilled water and biocide. Will see how it goes for a six months maybe a year. A PC's water cooling loop is very similar to a cars. They both have coolant flowing between a heat source and a radiator over different metals.
I think what facboy meant was if corrosion inhibitors work sufficiently well enough in the cooling system of a car which is a harsher environment than that of a pc then they can easily cope with that of a pc. I meant it as an absolute re inhibiting corrosion completely.
Regardless i'm not worried about my loop corroding in a time scale that I care about. I've had EK nickel fail on me before, but that they admitted was a manufacturing fault not corrosion. I didn't maintain my last loop apart from deionised water top ups for 5 years.
